George Dinsmore is thrilled to guide you through tonight’s fast-paced evening of theatrical storytelling. A South Carolina-based actor, host, and creator, George has been a fixture on Midlands stages and screens since 2006. His diverse background spans commercials, voice-overs, starring in the feature film Faith’s Song, hosting WIS-TV’s Palmetto Weekend Outdoor Adventures, and emceeing for the Lexington County Blowfish baseball team since 2018. Whether on stage or behind the scenes, George simply loves connecting with an audience and deeply appreciates the care it takes to bring a brief story to life. Tonight, he is incredibly proud to showcase his short play, The Great Escape, which he also directed. A deeply personal work, the play was inspired by the loss of his stepfather, John Wyatt.
