The newest play by our very own Lou Clyde is a poignant and touching comedy when women took jobs in factories while the men were away at war. But are the male supervisors ready for them? Luckily, they have an instruction manual - written by a man. Oops! Tickets are on sale for season members now and for everyone else on January 12.

"Nana's Naughty Knickers" Auditions March 1 & 2

Auditions for CTC's upcoming production of Mary Poppins, directed by Jane Peterson, will be held at 7 PM on March 1 & 2 at "Julia's House" up the hill behind the Chapin Theatre Buiding. Take the driveway to the left when you turn into the property. Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script. Bridget and her grandmother are about to become roommates. However, what Bridget sees as a unique opportunity to stay with her favorite “Nana” in New York for the summer quickly turns into an experience she’ll never forget. It seems her sweet Nana is running an illegal boutique from her apartment, selling handmade naughty knickers to every senior citizen in the five-borough area! Will Bridget be able to handle all the excitement? Will her Nana get arrested – or worse – evicted?

Chapin Theatre Company is delighted to re-invite you to our annual gala, on March 7th, 2026! This year’s theme is “A Step In Time”! Come dressed as your favorite era, time period, historical figure, or any thing else you can imagine - the possibilities are endless! Will you be a medieval knight, a renaissance lady, a 1920’s gentleman, or an 80’s rocker? It’s up to you! Enter our costume contest to win two tickets to our next show. On March 7th at 7:30, join us to enjoy hors d’oeuvres, specialty drinks, live entertainment, big announcements for our season, and more! We’ll be taking a look back at our recent achievements, the history of the theatre, and what’s in store for our future. Did we mention that it’s free??
