Our fifth annual 10 Minute Play Festival has been moved up to August for 2025. Submissions will begin April 1 with a May 31 deadline this year. The festival will be held Friday - Sunday, August 22 - 24, 2025, at our building at 830 Columbia Ave, Chapin, SC. Visit the festival page for all of the regulations. Submissions of short plays or sketches written by local peeps is a great opportunity to see your words come alive on stage. If selected, you will have an option of directing and/or casting your play. This event will again be emceed by George Dinsmore

We are excited to announce lots of summer camps for all ages as well as new youth theatre shows during our summer semester. Camps begin in June, but space is limited and they are already filling up.

Come out for a night of fun and laughter, as Chapin Theatre Company presents it's first, Comedy Night In Chapin. This is a 90 minute, PG13 show featuring four of Columbia's finest comics: Josh Milz, Phil Carter, Topher Riddle, and Jenn Snyder at 830 Columbia Ave, Chapin, SC on June 6 at 7 PM. Tickets are $20 and include a complimentary beverage. This event will have you in sticthes!

5 fantastic plays! 4 of them will be here at our new theatre, Once Upon a Mattress will be at Harbison Theatre.
