Auditions for CTC's upcoming production of Mary Poppins, directed by Jami Steele Sprankle, will be held at 10 am on February 7 for youth aged 9-13. Adults/Teen 14+ will audition at 7 pm February 8 and 9. – You only need to attend one night.

This first round will consist of music and dance auditions.

Singers should prepare 16-20 bars of a song that you are familiar with in a style that you are comfortable with. We will not have an accompanist, so you will need to bring backing tracks that we can play on our equipment. Please, no accapella auditions and no vocals on your backing track.

Dance auditions will follow, so make sure and wear clothes for movement. Let us know if you have any special skills or dance moves.

Bring along your best British accent high brow or low and you’ll be set!

SYNOPSIS: The jack-of-all trades, Bert, introduces us to England in 1910 and the troubled Banks family. Young Jane and Michael have sent many a nanny packing before Mary Poppins arrives on their doorstep. Using a combination of magic and common sense, she must teach the family members how to value each other again. Mary Poppins takes the children on many magical and memorable adventures, but Jane and Michael aren't the only ones upon whom she has a profound effect. Even grown-ups can learn a lesson or two from the nanny who advises that "Anything can happen if you let it."
